Job Title:Sales Support Consultant (Part-Time)
Description:Sales Support Consultant (Part-Time) - United Kingdom (Cambridge), Cambridgeshire Outline of the role: You will be part of a sales support team working in close co-operation with two other sales teams - sales consultants and sales administrators, to contribute to the achievement of divisional sales targets. The role primarily involves initial client contact to discuss current or future potential travel requirements, linked to effective client database management. Primary Responsibilities: · Ensure accurate data capture and IT system input relating to: client contact details, interests, mailing responses · Provide competitor/product feedback to the Marketing Co-ordinator and Product Development Co-ordinator · Follow call plans to assess future tour plans with named contacts · Follow call plans to source new clients against specific product interest · Follow call plans for marketing campaign follow-ups · Provide a detailed handover of potential new sales leads to the Sales Consultants · Maintain records of call plans and their outcomes · Follow up initial responses to brochure/flyer mailings and website enquiries as required · Amend system data following returned mailings and obtain new contact information · Provide follow-up call support to Sales Consultants for ongoing enquiries as required Essential Skills: · Sales and customer service orientated · An enthusiastic, professional and courteous telephone manner · Excellent communication skills · Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to use IT systems · Ability to follow procedures · Accuracy and attention to detail · Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative · Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and organise your workload Personal Attributes: · Self-motivated, positive and professional · Flexible and adaptable · Conscientious Additional Information: · 3 days per week 9am-5pm (any days except for a Monday) · In addition to a basic salary you will benefit from participation in a (profit related) bonus scheme after a qualifying period · Annual leave entitlement will be 20 days increasing to 25 days after 1 year · After a 2 year period, the Company will contribute into an approved pension scheme and you will be entitled to participate in the Company’s private medical scheme · Childcare Vouchers Scheme · Our client aims to be an equal opportunity employer
