Job Title:Project Control Assistant
Description:*** applications via: http://www.eumetsat.int *** In this role you will support the Project Controller in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Division in all activities related to cost, budget and schedule control, human resource management and financial planning of the Programmes/ projects. Part of your duties will be to process invoices and financial call-up’s, maintain the status of the milestone payment plan, maintain the travel budget and support the EUMETSAT procurement processes. To be successful, you should have a full secondary education and have additional training and a minimum of five years experience in relevant project/ financial disciplines. Experience in the operation of databases and project control related tasks is necessary. Familiarity with contract/purchase order handling and budget management is also needed as is experience in commitment and invoice handling. Proficiency in the use of PC software packages (MS Word, Excel, Access) is a must. Experience in the utilisation of an Enterprise Resource Programme (e.g. SAP) would be an advantage. The official languages of EUMETSAT are English and French. Candidates must be able to work effectively in one of these languages and also have a working knowledge of the other. Based in Darmstadt, Germany, the post is offered on an initial four-year contract.
